Target group
This course has been designed for operator personnel, wellsite supervisors, drilling engineers, HSE professionals, drill crew and third party service providers. No prior MPD experience is assumed.
Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for this type of training; however, learners must have a thorough understanding of conventional drilling, a working knowledge of drilling well control, awareness of the equipment used in rotary rig operations, and an understanding of the principles of well control barriers.
Objective
This IADC accredited course provides learners with a fundamental understanding of the process, procedures and equipment associated with MPD Operations with surface BOP stacks.
